Gunbarrel has a relatively small population of 10,000 and traffic in town is at a minimum. This smaller community is well-knit and features young professionals as a large portion of the population. There are many cute local coffee shops around town, as well as parks. Gunbarrel is actually part of Boulder as well, capturing more of a larger community feel. Being so close to the mountains, the general population of Gunbarrel is active and outdoorsy. The town also features the Boulder Country Club.
